    Abstract

In this paper it is possible to represent the large deflection analysis and determination ofthe de flections and bending stresses for a clamped circular plate under non – uniform force distribution. The main object of this paper is to obtain the large deflection and bending stresses for a clamped circular plate under non-uniform load by using Berger's approximate method(1955). The load shape considered here is an arbitrary function f(r) involving Bessel function, Fox-Wright function and H-functions. The small deflection case is also considered as a particular case of large deflection. The nature of -function is very general, the load shape considered here yields many useful and interesting results while solving the problem. In the last section of the paper some new results have been evaluated.
